farlands
farlands always tired, but never of you

it's been a long week.

grief

the darkness swallows me

whole.

the silence

drip,

drip,

drips,

down the sides

of this small room

like rain

down the window panes

and i

hear not a word

utter not a sound

the quiet

drowns me in its

aching,

dark,

chasm.

there is a void

in my heart

in my soul

in my mind

that can't ever

be filled.

i wish

i had said

"goodbye."
