I walked outside today, to be sent rolling,
It was almost as if the wind wanted to go bowling.
Perhaps I was too light,
Heavy is a might,
But roll I did this morning.
I thought I was soaring,
Until I hit the ground and rolled a few feet,
I tried to get up because I hit a place where four roads meet.
I tried to go downtown,
But just got knocked back down,
Rolling backwards on a path I didn't choose.
I wonder as this happened what would have been if hadn't walked out after my snooze.
I rolled quite a ways,
But i woke from my daze,
I planted my feet and stopped on the city limits,
Because leaving I won't permit,
So I slowly trudged back home,
And sighed quietly because I cannot roam.
