We all wear mask to hide our true selves,
A cover up within our lives,
But will you still be wanted when they uncover all your lies?
For our masks are made to order,
hiding pain and joy alike,
Because we fear it taken away,
the light of our life,
So we make these mask for ourselves,
lock the pain and joy away,
almost as if it were funds for a rainy day,
But we might not realize with emotions locked away,
that no emotions are no fun,
and make you end up feeling numb,
and in the end your cover's blown,
because those tears falling...
Were your own.
