A young woman with short deep brown hair laid in a raft, her left hand in the cold ocean waters. The raft is bright orange, a few hundred yards from what looks to be an island.
The water was calm as the raft simply stayed afloat, not seeming to get close or further from the island. It seemed to stay steady.
However, there was something offsetting with the air around the raft and above the ocean. The ocean was rough out at sea, but the close it got to the island, it was at a complete stand-still.
Almost as if it was being controlled by something or someone.
Connected to the orange raft was a rope, and that eventually led to another orange raft and that continued until there were ten rafts.
The young girl was at one end of the line, her raft starting to swing away from the others. Both rafts at the end had this problem. The seas were rougher to them.
On the other end raft sat another young woman but she had blonde hair that was a little past her shoulders.
She was completely in her raft, seemingly wrapped up inside a little ball, keeping herself warm as she was knocked out with melatonin and other narcotics.
It was like this for all ten people in the ten rafts. They were knocked out completely and weren't supposed to wake up; not for a long while.
However, the girl with brown hair slowly woke as ocean water splashed in her face. Her eyes slowly fluttered open. Her eyes were a dark brown, almost black.
Once she stirred awake, a wave of water crashed into her hand, causing it to retract into her chest as she sat up suddenly, the cold air above the waters hitting her at once.
Her mouth was open just a small bit as she breathed in heavily, feeling dizzy.
She felt her body fall as narcotics took over her once more. She then laid in the middle of the orange raft, ocean water beside her. It wasn't much, but it was just enough to keep her awake.
Something about it made her heart race. She felt afraid.
She closed her eyes, feeling the cold air take her all in.
(On The Submarine)
Colby turned around in the swivel chair as the screen before him lit up with the ten rafts on it's screen. He narrowed his eyes as he kept flipping the papers on the clipboard.
Each piece of paper held a person's picture and name. There were ten pieces of paper.
One for each experiment.
Justin then entered the room, a blank expression on his face, "Aren't you supposed to be in control of the medicine and what it does?"
"What do you want, jackass?"
"Experiment number ten woke up and we had to force her body to shut down, don't you see that this is gonna fuck her up now? It's gonna screw with the trials!" Justin slammed his hand down on the table.
Colby then lowered his glasses and sat them on the table as he crossed his legs, "Have you ever thought it was done intentionally?"
"Why would shit like that be done on purpose?"
"It's a trail on it's own. She woke up. She gets her memory back first, shit will hit the window," Colby smiles, "I chose FP16 to be that subject."
"Why her?" Justin raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms.
Colby then shrugged, "Because..." He paused, "She's different."
