Y/N stopped crying as she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up to see a man with a brown mullet looking right at her, kneeled in front of her. It was just like when they met.
She looked at him, shaking her head, "I- I'm so sorry!" She screamed out in pain.
Taehyung smiled at her as he gripped her shoulder, "You, of all people in this world, have the least to be sorry for." He then rubbed his thumb against her bear, cold skin. He gave her a boxy smile as he tilted his head, "If you love Jungkook, don't stop fighting just because of what he said. Fight for him... or he may not think twice about you."
"Why do y-you care?" She hiccuped, "I thought you h-hated one another." She started to cry a little bit, her tears stinging her face.
He took his hand from her shoulder and wiped away her tears with his thumb, "I fought for our friendship and he finally caved in," He then held her face, "If you do the same, no matter what he says, he will admit he loves you." Taehyung then stood up, looking down at her, "What are you waiting for?" He held his hand out to her.
Y/N didn't do anything; she thought to herself without speaking.
Taehyung smiled, "Take my hand, Kim Y/N, and fight for what you want. That is the only way to find out. Trust me." He then stood there patiently, his hand still in the air, waiting for her to connect with him.
Y/N stopped and slowly grabbed it, standing to her feet. He smiled and nodded. Y/N then turned and started to walk down the alley.
Once she reached the front of the club, Jungkook was in his car, about to leave the parking lot. He was circling to exit. Hoseok looked at her, sadness in his eyes.
Taehyung walked up behind her, stopping as she started forward.
Y/N stopped right in front of Jungkook's car. He stepped on the brakes of his Ferrari and looked out the window right at her. She didn't move as she stood there, her hair hanging in her face.
She could put her hands on the hood of his car he was so close to almost hitting her.
"What the literal hell!" Jungkook opened and slammed the door shut, "Do you have a death wish?" He then ran his hands through his hair as a slight snowfall came down, "What has gotten into you, Kim Y/N? Are you high on something or just plain dumb?" He was feet from her as he looked at her.
Her hand was at her heart, clenched tightly in a ball.
She was looking down, crying silently, "Is there such a thing as happily ever after that deals with you?" She whispered as she then looked up and into his eyes.
That caught him off guard.
"Or do you push everything away that could make you happy?" She shook her head slowly, "I fell for you from a distance, Jungkook..." Her voice cracked as she grit her teeth, tears streaming down her face.
Jungkook just stood there now, listening to her.
"Every day I saw you, my heart broke even more. I knew we were merely neighbors but after you helped me, took me in, I-" She paused, seeing his eyes grow harder.
Taehyung and Hoseok looked up at the night sky as more snow started to fall. It was about to get colder than it had been in recent nights.
It was almost 3 am now, the Club was going to be closed until 6 pm that very night.
Y/N then swallowed all the salvia in her mouth, "I can't lie about myself anymore," She faked an obvious smile and backed up, chest heaving, "What am I to you, Jeon Jungkook? Just a neighborhood? Another crazy fan-girl?" She shook her head, "I don't want you for your money... Your looks... your status.." She sighed as she looked down, "I want you for you."
Jungkook still didn't speak and he didn't move; he just looked down at her.
"If these past weeks of us being together, of me living with you, of you helping me... mean nothing to you..." She then looked up at him, gripping her chest harder, "Tell me." She then let the fake smile go, "Get in your car and leave without looking back... and I will leave you alone." She nodded, "That is my promise of a lifetime to you, Jeon Jungkook." She then closed her eyes as she continued to cry.
She didn't open her eyes when she heard a car door open and slam shut. She didn't bother to look up as she heard the engine rev in front of her.
Jungkook was in his car and he backed it up, driving swiftly past her and into the road. Y/N then opened her eyes and turned around to see Jungkook was driving off.
She nodded to herself as his engine was powerful against her heart.
She felt numb, vulnerable, broken, and hurt. She sighed as she let her chest go, looking at her hand. Her scars didn't matter to her anymore; nothing did.
Hoseok and Taehyung didn't move from where they stood, they couldn't bring themselves to. What they had just watched broke their hearts.
Snow lathered the ground, covering Y/N's freezing, purple feet. Her whole body shook as it started to snow heavier.
Eventually, Hoseok and Taehyung left in their cars as Y/N just stood there for nearly twenty minutes after Jungkook left. They knew she wouldn't go with them no matter what they did.
It was almost 5 am now, and she still stood where Jungkook had left her. She hadn't moved one inch, she hadn't looked up and she still held herself.
The snow was up to her mid-calf now and she couldn't feel her legs. The loose t-shirt did nothing to keep her warm, nor did her undergarments.
The snow was coming down heavier now, showing the poor girl no mercy. Her eyes were closed and she was half-asleep as her tears froze against her cool skin.
She didn't hear any sounds, see any lights, or smell any smells. She was completely gone. She was afraid, but not for herself. She was scared about what could happen to Jungkook now.
What if she had hurt him or pressured him? She drew the blame to herself all at once, so she cried harder. What if she had broken him? What if him not loving her was all her fault?
She didn't notice the car that parked across the street from her, or the figure getting out, an umbrella in his hand to keep the snow from falling on him.
The figure started to walk over to her, trudging through the snow slowly.
Y/N opened her eyes when she noticed the cold snow no longer fell upon her. She could see a pair of legs in the snow right in front of her.
She slowly raised her head, her bones snapping and popping with every movement. Her lips were purple and her face was frozen.
She then looked up at the man who stood there. Her heart fluttered as she saw him holding the umbrella over her, a robe in his hand.
He grabbed her hand, wrapping her fingers around the umbrella rod as he took the robe and swung it over her shoulders. He tied the string around her neck so it wouldn't fall off.
He then took the umbrella back, shoving his left hand in his pocket.
"Why are you still here?" His voice was quiet, "Do you have a death wish?" His eyes weren't brooding anymore, something else shimmered in them.
Y/N didn't answer, she just looked at him, her eyes were red and they stung as her salty tears froze before she could even let them fall.
The water pierced her skin, red marks streamed all the way down her cheeks were the tears she cried traveled.
"Get in the car, I'm taking you home." He turned to leave but stopped. Y/N grabbed his arm that was in his pocket weakly. He then looked back at her, "I want you..." His voice weakened, "But I can't have you here." He then pulled his hand out his pocket and grabbed her hand. It was burning cold against his warm skin.
He then gave her the umbrella again, picking her up bridal style. Some snow was stuck to her skin.
The man started towards his car after he folded the umbrella up, attaching it to his waist. He then opened the car door, the heat on full blast, and put her weak body in the passenger seat.
There was no middle console in the Ferrari. He closed the door and got in at his side. He threw the umbrella in the back and locked the car doors.
He turned on the other heaters in the car, making sure they were on full blast. He turned his head to see Y/N staring at him, her purple lips were plump and cracked every which way they could be.
"Jungkook.." Y/N whispered, closing her eyes.
Jungkook then stepped on the gas pedal, looking away from the girl. A tear was in his eye.
