Disclaimer: I do actually believe in unicorns.

what awaits

by erenah

the thing about tomorrows is that they're a myth

sometimes a comfort

other times a hindrance

I have wasted years waiting for things to change

because it was mollifying to imagine tomorrow as a place in which you could attain whatever you were longing for, once you reached it,

the truth is that that's what you're meant to do

with your todays!

be present, mindful, active, and you'll be so okay

you won't need any falsely conciliatory tomorrows

unless it's the weekend and you're too lazy to gaf

which is, btw, totally cool as well.

In order to catch a unicorn, you have to be really good with the Houlihan's throw. I loved this poem. The meter was wonderful. Great poem!!!!
