Boy meets girl but girl is full of ghosts and untenable.

a disclaimer for the boy who had the misfortune to fall in love with me

by erenah

I'm grateful you think I'm lovely, and imagine it

enough: the only req for the kind of love

we long for, above all things

but I am smoke, and mirrors, and torn-off wings

fragments of what might have been;

love was too long lost to me:

still lies beyond my capability

I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry

You should be able to give a warning. But if the guy wants to love you. You may find that you are not so bad. How many people have you killed, how many have you raped, how many have you enslaved, and how many have you taken their last morsel of food? You have written a beautiful personal introspection. You have a talent that is not to be dismissed lightly. You are definitely a person of value and values. Great job!!!!
