missing my favorite person right now. I hope you enjoy this.

In Your Absence

Right now I feel this dullness grasping at my core;

Right now I feel this dullness grasping at my core; It reminds me that whenever in your absence, my heart is like a closed door.

We both knew we had to go, but like the wind I grasped until the final wisps were gone;

We both knew we had to go, but like the wind I grasped until the final wisps were gone; Even as I pace the floor where you once stood, my heart grows ever more fond.

In our reunion my heart flares like the jagged lightning in the sky;

In our reunion my heart flares like the jagged lightning in the sky; And if I told you I didn’t miss you, it would be an utter lie.
