A rather longer poem-like piece about a memory that'll for ever live in me. A beautiful, symbolical memory that I wish you remembered the same way as I do...
I love you.

Explain Love...

You sat me down.

You sat me down. Told me to stay.

You sat me down. Told me to stay. A little bit scared but very much curious, I asked what you wanted to say.

You said no words, just took a pencil and a paper.

You said no words, just took a pencil and a paper. "How mysterious she is" - I thought to myself, "sometimes I hate her..."

You looked deep in my eyes, then glanced at your desk, and started to draw.

You looked deep in my eyes, then glanced at your desk, and started to draw. Two circles and a line connecting them, I was just staring at it in awe.

Then I looked at you to seek explanation but you kept your gaze on your drawing

Then I looked at you to seek explanation but you kept your gaze on your drawing And after a time that seemed like forever, you finally glanced at me; my heart was roaring.

Your lips finally twitched, indicating that you'll say a word

Your lips finally twitched, indicating that you'll say a word And I knew whatever you're about to say will crush my world.

"Two circles and a line, you see how simple it is?" - she asked me, most probably taking pleasure in my confusion.

"Two circles and a line, you see how simple it is?" - she asked me, most probably taking pleasure in my confusion. "I see" - I answered, lying, obviously, as I didn't know how to jump to a conclusion.

She flashed a brief yet heart-wrenching smile at me, knowing that I had no idea about what she was thinking about.

She flashed a brief yet heart-wrenching smile at me, knowing that I had no idea about what she was thinking about. Then, probably taking a pity on me, she decided it was finally time she says her thoughts aloud;

"You're one of the circles, I'm the other, the line connecting them is everything that exists between us, you know?"

"You're one of the circles, I'm the other, the line connecting them is everything that exists between us, you know?" Only the compulsion to see where she was going with this made me not say "no".

"Yes" - I lied, yet she was smart enough to know I had no idea. One more mischievous smile and a shake of head. God, how pretty...

"Yes" - I lied, yet she was smart enough to know I had no idea. One more mischievous smile and a shake of head. God, how pretty... "You think it's that simple, but it's not. There isn't only one line, there's as many as lights in a city."

I loved her voice... it was so smoothing and peaceful, sweet and mellow; even now, that she was trying to tell me that something wasn't going well.

I loved her voice... it was so smoothing and peaceful, sweet and mellow; even now, that she was trying to tell me that someone's wasn't going well. She didn't let me time to think, she just started to draw all the lines she could between the two circles - fast, angry and furious as hell.

"You see my point now? Do you?!" - She demanded, quasi crying.

"You see my point now? Do you?!" - She demanded, quasi crying. I honestly did not though, but trust me, I was trying.

"You see my point now? Do you?!" - She demanded, quasi crying. I honestly did not though, but trust me, I was trying. I shook my head and looked deeply in her eyes; I could tell she was internally dying.

Then she closed them, probably so that my glance doesn't force any tear out of them. "This can't go on. Not any longer. This is so wrong, I can't imagine anything wronger. I need my space and time, I need to get stronger."

She was probably crying, though she would never let me see that. I know her well enough, this is the time when I stand up and walk out of the door.

She was probably crying, though she would never let me see that. I know her well enough, this is the time when I stand up and walk out of the door. That's what I did, but I regret not turning the paper upside down, writing "I love you" and kissing her beautiful lips more than I'd ever regretted anything before.
