Promises

by donnamariekinca

Promises promises, that's all I hear,

When all your promises

Those you made, and said you meant

Those promises have disappeared.

Thinking that love, would never die

When all of your promises

I held onto, in real hope

Thought all would be forever

All your promises were a lie.

With a promises to myself

I will love, once more again

Though trust me, when I say

I hate that I've lost you, as a friend

This was well written. Your metered verse helped move your message in an easy flow to the readers. This was both technicall and artistically excellent verse. Great job!!!
