I don't know when it happened, but somehow along the way I lost my home.

by dissonance

I am homesick for the body I once used to be able to live in.

Homesick to the mind I didn’t have a problem getting lost in or sharing out loud.

Homesick has such a bitter feeling to it, an acidic sour burning feeling in my throat.

So much of me doesn’t feel like me.

I can relate distantly but I honestly think that this can connect to people, describe what people have no words for, in such a simple yet powerful way. It makes my heart ache in a way I can't quite explain. Great wording, and I guarantee you that I loved it!

This was beautifully descriptive. My home is in the mists of memory. You are going through changes which will make it necessary to make your own home. Of course, it is convenient if you feel OK inside your own skin. Great post!!!!!!
