Another piece from a reading that I liked :)

The Banquet of Life

By Darkstormer,

I loved the world, (He is my world.)

I loved the world, So I married it.

And the cake was the right

And the cake was the right shade of warm tight.

The knot tied with an onion ring,

The knot tied with an onion ring, The heart gave another ding.

Breath yellowing with chicken grease,

Breath yellowing with chicken grease, With a vibe of crowded peace.

The world strung decorations using only teeth,

The world strung decorations using only teeth, That laid love like a wreath.

We stuck fingers to our name,

We stuck fingers to our name, And so didn't call each other lame.

Later, we honeymooned in the grocery store,

Later, we honeymooned in the grocery store, Every moment our hands on adore.

I kept the receipt on the corner of the mirror,

I kept the receipt on the corner of the mirror, As our hearts became fairer.
