Tears Falling

by darklyloved

As the tears stream down

this young boy's face,

no one says a word.

They walk away as if nothing happened,

and the boy screams out:

"HOW COULD YOU JUST SIT THERE AND WATCH?!"

Nobody answers as they close their eyes and walk away.

He sits down mourning the loss of the world

that only he feels.

The sun goes to sleep forgetting all about him

as if she never died.

The one person that ever cared for him, ever felt

sympathy towards him...

gone.

He cries until his eyes,

foggy from salty tears,

coudn't bear cry this world another waterfall

full of pain, misery and loss.

He puts his head in his eyes and pretends that the world is

perfect and normal.

Then, a girl walks up to him and says:

"We don't watch. We put our hands to our eyes and smile

-and ignore this mad world of hurt."

In this world, everyone covers their eyes

and puts sugar on everything.

Thus was deeply delectable. The wording was tragically luscious. The verses carried the story perfectly to your conclusion. I loved this more of a treatise than a poem. Great work!!!!
