Love can take a person's life to prove it's worth.< br/>Btw credits for the first line to my older sister < 3

Lullaby of Death

by darklyloved

As my finger hugged the trigger, the bullet embraced the man’s chest, becoming a part of his life, and deciding his future.

The wind carried the lullaby of death, gently rocking him to sleep, for pain will envelope him shortly.

Life was teasing him as his vision darkened.

He realized that the world might end on his part.

He endured the blindness that he had given in to, too tired to care.

Life finally grew bored and stole his breath away, as if falling in love once again, and passed it on to Death as a gift to symbolize the love that will hold on for all eternity between them.

This was exquisitely painful. It was lugubrious without being syrupy and morose. It makes me feel better about the people that I have shot. This was both uplifting and clinically detached. Great work!!!

Your writing style is so darkly beautiful and twisted, I never get tired of reading your work. Great job. ❤
