Questioning Love

by dannibear1461

Am I who you desire Or just someone you require Do you hold the key That will unlock and free me

Is it my heart you treasure so Or just for pleasure as you go Is it long lasting Or a fleeting attraction

Do you wish to hold me tight Or am I just a fleeting sight Is this serendipity Or am I just mere cupidity

Do you words have meaning Or am I just daydreaming Will it be tender, true Or another notch for you

I love heroic couplets! It takes a lot of thought to get a message with the meter and couplets all competing for attention. You did it here. Keep them coming and I will dub you the new Shakespeare.
