Final farewell

by dannibear1461

Trembling with fear Walking near The coffin where you lay

So still, gaunt It haunts To say goodbye this way

Your face so pale Makes me wail Words I cannot say

Closed eyes Lost inside My hand I place above

Glass cold Trying to hold My heart breaks with love

Tears flow There's no hello Instead you lay before me

Whisper your name Your not the same Soul has left thy body

Emptiness surrounds My Dads not around Left with a stark image of thou

@dannibear1461 It was my pleasure. I am on my last roundup. I hope someone thinks of me the way you did your father.
