A friend

by dannibear1461

A character from the start Endearment from the heart Through wise words, proving to me A different creature, an entity

Persistence through resistance Of the walls clearly erected With clarity of deep hurt suspected

Instead an ear to listen, a hand of no malice Instead a friend who fathoms The inner beauty, passion

Sacred and scarce A Friendship bequest To exchange deep meanings of a story to be told Stay a while as the walls erode

This was a rare beauty. The stanzas were read in the heart not the eyes. Welcome back. It's been awhile. Great poetry!!!!
