A new story- I hope you like it! πŸ™ƒπŸ’•

Runaway

Hi guys. So, I guess I’m starting a new story! This one’s going to be a bit different, I’ve decided to use different formatting, which I don’t usually do in stories, only poems.

I actually only learned how to use advanced creator a few months ago- it took me a year, but hey, I figured it out in the end πŸ˜‚ Anyway, I hope you enjoy <3

β€˜That’s all, I think.’ Sapphire says to herself, staring at her backpack. She still can’t believe she’s leaving the house and neighbourhood she grew up in. But it’s for the best. She can’t bear living with her family anymore, even if it means leaving everything behind.

7:15pm

7:15pm Exactly 15 minutes until her parents leave the house for the the night. Sapphire had thought out her plan perfectly. She was going to leave the house at 7:40 pm, head to the train station by taxi, and catch the 8 pm train. The ride to Edinburgh would be 9 hours- so she’d arrive at 5am.

By then, her parents would still be at the party, arriving home at about 7 am. They won’t bother coming into her room to check on her, as usual.

By then, her parents would still be at the party, arriving home at about 7 am. They won’t bother coming into her room to check on her, as usual. They’ll go straight to bed until late afternoon- just their typical day. This would give her almost 24 hours to travel, check into a hotel, and settle down to start her new life.

They probably wouldn’t notice she was gone until a few days later. It’s what they do.

They probably wouldn’t notice she was gone until a few days later. It’s what they do. Not bother to check on her for days or even a week, and then come in to shout at her, smash her stuff and... she can’t bear to think about it any longer as tears sting her eyes.

β€˜It’s all going to be okay now,’ She sighs, and tightens the hood by the strings to cover her face.

β€˜It’s all going to be okay now,’ She sighs, and tightens the hood by the strings to cover her face. After a few minutes spent sobbing, she finally hears the front door bang shut, calls the taxi, and steps outside her house.
