Summer Love

One summer romance And a love that cannot be Happened near the east coast of Italy. Scarred me with a memory of an unforgettable dance

But before we could run away to France (So we could love and be truly free) They came to take you away from me And you left without so much as a glance

How could such beautiful thing exist? Why let me feel passion this addicting Only to steal it with a tight fist? The wound you left is still bleeding Your band of love still tied to my wrist Love, 'til death I will keep waiting
