An ironic short story, written for the daily prompt "Law." Under 100 words in length.

Elections

The laws of this land are long and arduous. Our council of rulers have changed the laws many times over, with amendments and notes and specificities tacked on every day.

It seems that each new council member assures us that with their election, the laws will be tidied but we, the people of the land, are losing faith.

That is why I am running for the next election. I will be the one that will organize the laws once and for all.
