A little silence

A movie, some music, a video game, it all can bring me joy

But sometimes, every now and then, I'm yearning for the void.

Silence, no devices, no screens demanding my attention and time.

Just a book, some coffee, an empty page for me to write the rhyme.

A walk in the park, a hike in the woods, from nowhere to nowhere I want.

I'll get back in line, to the noisy world, but a little silence is what I hunt.
