Wow! I've just seen the most wonderful creature at the top of this hill (I'm at the bottom). Okay, she's no oil painting, but there's just something about her. I've got to meet her.

I mosey on up the hill. Ten years later and I'm still only halfway up.

I can see her much clearer now. She's withered on the vine a bit. I think I'll head back down the hill.

Another ten years and I'm at the bottom of the hill again.

I've just wasted twenty years on a female! I never learn. I hate being a bastard tortoise!

Wonderful tale! It was a supremely clever parable. Have you ever seen an alligator snapping turtle? The ugly dude had no chance anyway. Great tal!!!!!
