Normal: Conforming with an accepted standard.

So, you mean to tell me that it isn't normal

To be unable to picture one's parents in the same room?

It's irregular

To travel from house to house, because one's parents just couldn't make their relationship work?

And, it's unusual

To live with strangers because one's parents didn't want them?

It's weird

To be that one puzzle piece that can't complete the picture?

Apparently it's unnatural

To be constantly told "It's your fault" for the slaps and punches?

And unheard of

To be the object of a parent's hatred and abuse?

Are you saying it's not typical

To raise oneself, since the parents can barely remember that they have a kid?

It's absurd

To have to clean up a parent's messes, since the alcohol and drugs scatters their mind?

The only normal in the world, is the 2 parent families

Without any problems?

That perfection is the only true normal?

I guess one of our dictionaries

Has a misprint.

Your words were beautiful. They did not evoke pity but they evoked empathy. This was written so clearly and concisely that your message reverberates. Great post!!!!!!
