First step through the wide open entrance, and everything looks empty.
Second step takes you to more of the same.
The third is the game changer, you can now see an altar in the distance. As you get closer you can spot framed pictures, but torn in places, little candles, all extinguished.
That place in particular feels colder, so you keep going forward, hoping to forget the desolate sight.
Next in your path is...
Nothing, nothing, nothing,
Pain, suffering, dread, fear, anxiety, stress, sadness, they are all suddenly appearing.
It hurts but you don't know why, it doesn't feel right or wrong but deserved, you think, no you KNOW it's your own fault, but you can't figure out why.
You're now on the floor crushed by all the thoughts and feelings, you pray that it will be over soon...
You keep hoping, clinging that she or he will come back, that they will forgive you for what you did or didn't do, but you know they won't, those are just bitter-sweet desires.
The pain goes on,
And never stops
Even if you wish it will
But you have to keep going
It's not like hurting alone will ever help
You can't do anything about it though...
Nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing
But you keep going
The last step
It will lead out of here
You will be able to forget everything, even that person
Go on, make that step
Or do you really want to remember that someone that badly
It's up to you
