You were my melody!

Melody

by bhintunar

Your voice used to be my melody Yeah! My favorite kind of harmony Our song was made perfectly But I let go of you easily

Your voice used to be my melody Yeah! The soothing lovely Lullaby That helped me fall asleep easily But I let go of you easily

Your voice used to be my melody Now you're my mid night poetry Oh! Baby it's not my victory Cause I let go of you easily

Baby you were my love song But now you're my sad song What happened to our song? Can we complete our love song?

Your voice used to be my melody Now you are my tragedy Stuck in the back of my memory Cause I let go of you easily

This sounded like a song... I loved it. Whoever this "Suraj" is.... I am sure he feels lucky to be mentioned in a beautiful work such as this! Great post!

I don't know Suraj but I know he is the luckiest guy in the world today. This is such a beautiful but sad poem. It is mechanically exception in the meter, rhyme, and verse construction. The message was sad and sweet. It is human to apply superior value to a loss than one applies to that same object when in possession. Great job!!!!!!
