Holly just walked into Chilis and she spots me right away. She tries to remain calm, but her eyes are moving back and forth like if she were trying to hide from someone.
She walks straight to the booth I’m sitting at and starts eating my fries. She doesn’t say anything to me she just looks down at the table. After a while she notices my margarita,
“You’ve been drinking”
I reply saying what I always say, “Of course I have I’m trying to get my mind off of all this.”
“Bella you’re only 19, you could be in college by now and here you are wasting your life drinking”
I smile after hearing this, “Holly I'm 21.” I hold up my fake ID smiling.
She looks at me more serious, “Bella, do you even know what you are getting into being here?”
“Holly, you know I’m going to keep thinking about it till I find the truth behind it all.”
She knows what I’m talking about, the dying desire to find honest truth to why all these things are happening to use and not someone else. After a while she says,
“So, I guess we need an uber?”
I shake my head in disapproval knowing that the hotel is across the street. “Holly the hotel is only across the street we’ll be fine”
We start walking. Holy doesn’t seem like she is going to last long walking out in the open. After 5 seconds she can’t take it and starts trying to get a taxi.
