Interview with the winner of Food story contest!

Interview with Karadi Tales Writing Contest

This is a interview with Anna Bella @bellatheninja on thier win on Karadi Tales Writing Contest!

"Walking with Angels"

The contest is about loss!

How Bella feels winning this contest?

I feel great! I've never won anything on Commaful before, so I'm really proud of myself for being able to this time.

What inspired her to write this book/post/poem/story?

I've always loved to tell stories in one way or another. What sparked my love of poetry was when I read the book "Yellow Dog" in fourth grade (I'm in 8th grade now). I don't know who it's by, but it was a book of poetry telling the story of how a boy lost his yellow dog to a red car. That was the first book that made me cry.

Also, I just love to write actual books/fanfictions (mostly fanfictions) I write them on a separate site called You can find me by searching the name @bellaisagryffindor and you'll automatically teleport to my page.

Insight on her book/post/poem/story

My poem is about when my Grandpa died. It was a really sad time for me and my family, but I was still too little to fully understand what was happening.

I knew that he had died, but I was confused about where he went and things like that. I still regret not spending enough time with him though, even if I was too young to have a proper relationship.

Her words regarding Commaful in general

Commaful, yes, Commaful.. Commaful's amazing! I love it so much! There are so many kind and loving people on there, and I feel like I can just rant to anyone and they'll somehow understand.

Her words regarding the Commaful contests

The contest kind of felt like something different for me, just something to change aimlessly writing poems on Commaful, and I'm so glad that I won! :)

Congratulation on your winning, Bella!

Not to make this about myself, but I could relate to you a little. My grandpa too died when I was young, couldn't process that he passed away. My sister and I stayed at my neighbour's house that day returned at night. Wished I had more time with him too!

Thank you for sharing the poem with us! Do check out her work peeps!! Link in description!
