beginning of the end

by aylin

he said they can leave whenever she wants

she said it's raining outside

not many words left to say

everything that comes from his mouth

made her wish he would never say out loud

and they minds were anywhere but there

their hands were standing next to each other

wished looking away would help

to steer away from this nightmare

the rain didn't seem to stop

and 2 hours was enough to see there was no flame inside

the pavement set their ways apart

''take care of yourself'' was the only thing left behind.

Oh but this pulled the heart strings. This was beautifully written to catch the reader in his pathos spot. Great poem!!!
