Endorphins

By Atara Rainer

Sometimes, Life is like a big square. You're just bounding between four different things, Sleeping, Eating, Working, And wasting time.

Other times, it doesn't suck so much, And life feels like one huge, messy party, Where everyone has a huge bash, Regardless of whether it's a holiday or not.

And then, There are the days that feel empty, Everything is just laid out in black and white, And there isn't a single connection that makes sense.

On rainy days, I like to try and figure out the things that don't make any sense at all. Like why do people hurt one another? Why am I someone who unintentionally hurts?

It's not easy. It's so hard to consider these things without crying, Or having to lean on someone's shoulder, While still feeling as lonely as ever.
