I still remember
I still remember That when I was a little kid
I still remember That when I was a little kid I asked my mother,
Why are we not rich like Bill Gates?
Why don't we have a fancy car too?
Why aren't we famous like the like those celebrities I see on TV?
Why can't we also live in a bigger and better house too?
Why are we so poor?
Why are we so poor? Are we forsaken?
My mother looked at me with a smile on her face
My mother looked at me with a smile on her face And she said have you considered that
Millions of children out there are disabled
And a lot more are homeless
And a lot more are homeless and are starving
Other children out there do not have parents
Whilst others are so sick and are dying right now
Others don't even have a place to call home
Don't always complain about what you don't have
But appreciate the little things that we have
Look not on the dark side of things
But on the bright side
We might not be filthy rich but we are a happy family
And for that, you should be grateful!
