As if no one could ever make you smile as wide.
As if the crevice that is your mouth could give way to the gaping hole beneath fits of laughter
yet it never does.
You only smile.
You smile as if time itself flirted with you, leaving you breathless as if the whole world is a wonder to look at through those eyes
and oh, your eyes.
Your eyes themselves smile, wider than your mouth.
for they have seen so many things, so many faces.
So many smiles you have given away, as if they were free,
as if there were an unlimited supply of them.
But when you smile at me I know they are worth more than all the heavens above,
yet you have given one to me, free of charge.
So I smile back.
I hope you noticed.
