I suffer from impending nerve damage to my hands, so here's a little emotional poem on how i feel about the numbness in my hands.

numb- a poem.

by ashleyciera

most nights it gets hard and i just want to go feel the cold air on my arms and scream at the moon when i can't feel my hands i rip at my curtains for i cannot feel it these hands are not mine

i can't cry, i can't yell for the night is too quiet and the clouds are still sleeping i'm afraid if i wake them they'll never come again so instead i wait and i claw at my hands

I wish it would hurt so that i could feel again

The picture amplifies the message. The structure of the poem was son on target that it too enhanced what you had to say. The words were deep and resonate with anyone who has had deep thoughts. The words are powerful and conjure all sorts of images before releasing their meaning. You have an excellent grasp of the language. You are an immensely talented poet.

Reminds me of a three days grace song called Pain. There is one line that says "cuz I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all"

The last two lines were really something!
