Empress of the trees

by ashleyciera

dear me, the hazel eyed girl with a heart of daisies, the sooner you surrender your soul to the forest, the weeds in your mind will release.

take 6 deep breaths, not one more or less, let the sun shine through the leaves as you fall onto the dirt, shine it on your eyes; the green is seen best with the guidance of sunlight.

young daughter of the earth, such a surely unsure life you lead. your mind may hold the answers to the questions the universe pleads to you with

so don't let your words dance on your lips a second longer. stand tall and sure above the treetops, careful not to stumble.

while the grass will accept you as you dance off and fall, your soul will prosper, as you were the empress of the trees.

as long as you leave your heart to bloom the daisies you selfishly kept there.

I thought this was a deeply thoughtful poem. Your words were well chosen to bring your message to light. The ethereal view of nature came to your readers and helped them see the world as a magical place. Great job!!!!
