Ageing- an inevitable change where physical beauty changes to beauty of wisdom.

MORPHOSIS

Ensnared in a trap of life Peppy cheerful mind scuffle for worldly assets Till inevitable morphosis betide

And it’s time for the sun to set, Rise to experience it’s fall and for darkness to take over all Silky night tresses are taken over by the murky clouds

Sparkling honest eyes that spoke are shrouded by mist and are left with no words

Beauty freckles darken to ageing creases And skin which was once smooth now rifts and chips

Deserted crinkled and lifeless existence Where no worldly greed seem to loitre,

A mind full of resent for past longings Stoop backs , no more stout

Yearning to re-write there past accounts Before dimming out

This piece is very close to my heart :) because this is based on image prompt ,which my favorite college professor has sketched herself. <3 (She is just Amazing) Thank you so much for reading.
