Technically not my story, but my parents. They went to the Titanic movie and sat in the theater.
Before the movie started, nearby two elderly people were talking to each other, and my parents overheard.
EP1: "I heard the effects of the sinking were extraordinary"
EP2: "Yes, so have I."
Then, out of nowhere, these kid's eyes lit up at them and yelled stuff like this.
Kids: "What? You spoiled the movie! Now we can't watch the movie!"
After they finished, my parents and the elderly people looked at them with the "Are you fucking kidding me?" looks.
How kids were able to live this long WITHOUT knowing about one of the biggest tragedies ever.
