I assume you don't know, or else you wouldn't be here. When someone puts the barrel of a gun in your mouth, they usually intend to pull the trigger.
The barrel tastes like sweat, fear, frantic pleading...
And then sudden silence.
But that's not how it goes for my victims.
When they wake up, all limbs gone except for their right arm, all the fingers torn off except for the thumb and pointer finger, all the wounds fused closed, eyes gouged out,
nose plugged with concrete, they beg to die.
I ask each of them.
"What does the barrel of a gun taste like? "
I place one in their remaining hand.
Just before they pull the trigger, each of them tells me.
"It tastes like relief."
