White feminism is something like this:
I grew up in a tiny rural high school so out of the way it really developed its own school culture.
Most of the girls planned on college and most of the boys planned to inherit their family farms and not go to college.
Understandably, the majority of people not planning for college (and often despairaging college) did not take rigorous math courses.
Because of that, as a teenager, I was mostly unaware of the stigma that girls were ‘bad at math.’
That doesn’t mean that it :
1. Didn’t exist and affect millions of other girls.
2. Didn’t exist in the minds of the staff and teachers in a way that affected my own education in ways I could not fathom.
Tldr; if something didn’t happen personally to you the correct response it not to tell other people it isn’t an issue.
