I can hear it every night. I told mom and dad too, but they don’t believe me.
They went in my room, daddy went under the bed and even acted like someone grabbed his feet for a moment, and then laughed it off.
They told me there’s no monsters in real life, and if there were, they would be friendly monsters like in that movie Monsters Inc. But I kept insisting and they got mad.
I heard them talking about me outside our apartment, saying they shouldn't come when I cry about monsters, saying that I’ll never learn if they do.
So I didn't call them that night, 'cause i knew they wouldn't come. But the noise did. It always did.
I was almost asleep, very late in the night. It was right under my bed. First a very small crying noise. If the floor was thicker I wouldn't even hear it.
