18 year old girl here. So back about a week or two, I was at a Watsky concert with my dad. This was my second ever concert and was way more wild than I anticipated. Towards the beginning of the show, I was separated from my dad but he kept me updated through text. I spent the majority of my night shoved up to the front and having people spill beer on me.

Thank God for Fake Friends

18 year old girl here. So back about a week or two, I was at a Watsky concert with my dad. This was my second ever concert and was way more wild than I anticipated.

Towards the beginning of the show, I was separated from my dad but he kept me updated through text. I spent the majority of my night shoved up to the front and having people spill beer on me.

Towards the end I decide to fall back towards the bar and watch the rest of the show with my dad.

Around this time, I was leaning on some tiny mini bar. I was enjoying my time, when suddenly I feel someone bear hug me from behind and hold me still.

I just kinda froze up and I hear a male whisper "Your ride is about to leave". Who ever it is just lets me go and dips out.

It's super dark in this venue so I could only see he had some kinda baseball hat on. I walked over to my dad and asked if he was bored and wanted to leave.

(Don't judge me, I take things way too literally). He shook his head no and looked at me confused. I shrugged it off and stuck around near my dad.

A few minutes later I spot baseball cap with his friend. They both look late twenties early thirties. At this point I can tell they are both absolutely shit faced.

I started zoning back into the music until I felt him staring at me. I glanced and I was right. He was dead on glaring. I just kinda half smiled because I had no idea what to do.

The guy, keeping eye contact, pointed to his lips, smiled, and nodded. I happened to be wearing some dark ass lipstick. I just kinda shrugged it off and tried my best to not draw any attention.

My dad, having seen this crazy fuck, just laughed about it, causing me not to really freak out.

As the show ended, he and his friend disappeared somewhere else. My dad, now seeing the guy was gone, told me he was heading to the bathroom before we left.

I chilled by the bar until a crowd came up. I kinda shuffled to the side, getting out of their way. Out of no where, baseball cap shows up and gets super close.

His face is less than a foot from my face. At this point, I can hardly tell his eye color because his pupils are the size of saucers. I chocked out a nervous and high pitched "Hi...".

He just continued to stare, close as fuck. After a good ten seconds of silence I just booked it past him and into a dense crowd.

After swimming through some people, I made my way to the back where I thought the bathrooms would be. I found a girl standing by herself.

I awkwardly approached her, and straight up asked if I could stand by her for a minute. I explained my situation in short. She smiled and welcomed me.

I saw the guy wandering through the crowd I darted into, but eventually he left. My dad came out a few minutes later and I thanked the girl and left.

I'm really glad she was there, even though the guy didn't see me.

TL;DR: Went to a concert, creepy guy approached, girl was nice enough to pretend to be my friend and make me feel safe.
