New to Reddit and this is my first post.
In my theatre we prohibit external food and drink, and we especially prohibit hot drinks (because of risk of burns).
We don't serve hot drinks, but the restaurant next door serves coffee, so we usually let people finish at our tables before they enter.
So last week somebody managed to get past admission with a full, piping hot cup of black coffee, and I was inside the auditorium showing people to their seats.
As he approached me I let him know that he wasn't allowed hot drinks in, and let him know that there was 15 minutes of advertisements before the film starts,
so he had plenty of time to drink the coffee out at the tables.
He then told me that it wouldn't be enough time to drink it all, handed me the cup, and stormed out to the shop.
He then asked one of the shop workers to refund him for the coffee, which he bought next door.
He obviously didn't get a refund.
