Take the thread and carefully put it in the eye of the needle.
Make a tiny knot at the end to prevent it from escaping the weft.
Pull both the hems of the fabric close. Hold them still.
Insert the needle and trace a line to sew the pieces together.
The procedure is not hard to learn.
I just wish I could mend your torn heart in the same way.
I wish I could put every shard back in place to stop the bleeding.
