Lucid Dreaming

by faedreamer

So I accidentally had my first experience with Lucid dreaming last night. It was soooo strange.

So I had surgery a while back and have lingering pain from it so I have a bottle of Tylenol with Codeine for when the pain flares up.

I rly don’t like taking it because it gives me the strangest dreams, really vivid and shocking. Not necessarily nightmares every time, but like acid trips.

I took one last night before bed cause I overdid it yesterday and made myself hurt and ended up having a lucid dream.

In my dream I knew I’d taken the medicine and that nothing was real, I was dreaming. I remember specifically saying to myself “Okay, Fae, calm down. This is from the meds. This is just a dream.

” And I was walking around, everything such bright colors and I just kept freaking out inside because I knew I was in a dream world.

Then there was a lady and she was trying to get me to wake up, she said I didn’t belong there. And I remember whining at her lol.

I was like “Whaaaaat? nooooooo…” And woke up saying no all drawn out and whiny out loud. I felt like I was in the dream and aware of it as a dream for about 20 minutes maybe.

I mostly just wandered this sort of outdoor scene all trees and grass and lots of flowers until the lady found me.It was so fucking weird. I’ve never had anything like that happen before.

I felt like I was in Alice in Wonderland or, like, Willy Wonka’s factory, everything was bright and vivid and surreal.

I mostly just remember the colors being like blindingly bright and saturated.Wish I could learn how to do that without the gross drugs aiding it.

The only thing I remember about the woman who made me wake up was she was young-ish, early 30′s maybe, with jet black hair loose and kind of wavy down her back.

I wish I remembered more, I can’t even recall details of her face, more impressions of her.
