*swear. I can't type on this iPod touch.
Hi there. First time posting a story on this Reddit. Been an employee at a movie theatre for almost two years, and I love my job, but teenagers/kids are so stupid.
I worked a 12pm-5pm box office shift, selling tickets and all.
At one point of the day, these kids bought tickets to see Minions, right? Literally feet away, they talked to a woman and said they were seeing We Are Your Friends.
Like, seriously? We can hear you, you kids. Told one of the ushers to go check the theatre we had that movie in and they left the theatre and went to the right theatre!
Just a little later, these two girls bought tickets to Sinister 2. I asked the woman with them if they were seeing the movie with her and I believe she said she was.
However, my co-worker noticed that she didn't buy a ticket to see it, so she stopped them at podium and told them they couldn't see it unless she went to see it with them.
They stood for a few minutes, deciding what to do, so I exchanged them for Jurassic World, which we have a re-release for.
Forgot about another. Friday night, I worked box as well.
Bunch of kids bought tickets to see Ant Man, but our theatre checker, an employee who is like an usher, but stays until the last movie is over, caught them sneaking in to Sinister 2.
They came back for refunds, and they said there not enought seats in Ant Man, which is bullshit since our computers tell us how full a theatre is, and it wasn't anywhere near full.
Kids are so stupid, I swear. Do they not know that you need a parent/guardian to see R-rated movies?
