So I’m currently in the Twin Cities in Minnesota visiting my mother as she continues her recovery from her kidney transplant.
The hotel we’re staying at is a very nice place. The staff are all very polite and friendly.
However, some guests are not as polite and friendly.
There’s a gaggle of girls staying on the floor beneath the floor that my mom and I are on.
Last night and into today, all it seems they’ve been doing is going between their rooms all the while banging on the doors or banging things in their rooms.
The room my mom and I are in is right above these girls so we can hear a lot of this ruckus. It got to the point last night that my mom nearly called the front desk to make a complaint.
Now, my mom and I are generally patient but tonight this mess with these girls got out of hand.
It’s approximately 11 pm and these girls are very loudly pounding on their door and I literally thew down what I was holding and I threw open the door and I leaned over the railing and told
them they needed to stop and that they were being too loud. They looked around and one asked who said that.
I said “I did and you need to stop,” and they looked up at me.
Once I explained they were being loud, they brushed me off and basically said the only reason they were being annoying little buttholes was because they needed to get in their rooms.
Now, I understand if you get locked out of a hotel room, forgot your key, and need to make a little noise to get the attention of someone inside the room to let you back in.
But this mess just about takes the goddamn cake.
It doesn’t matter who you are or where you are, have some goddamn courtesy to other guests who are trying to sleep and rest and don’t make so much fucking noise.
And if someone happens to ask you to tone it down, be a decent human being and tone it down. And don’t be an annoying butthole, especially when it’s late at night.
Have some manners, please.
