Every universe has a timeline, some fail to begin while others fail to end. Every timeline plays out all at once, we experience the "movement".
This basically means though every moment repeats itself infinitely, we are going through it in order, "time".
In the beginning was time travel. People came back from the future which happens at the same time as the past and created life, dying in the process, thus life as we know it now.
Forever guessing how it all began, we find out every time only to forget. How long do we know the truth? What does it do for us? In order to survive as a species we must die and start over.
We exist the same life blissfully unaware. When we can shift our actions and blame to a set timeline, all war is justified. We are creators of life but don't want the responsibility.
We make religions to make it easier.
The true comfort is that we don't die while the curse is nothing changes. How will this effect our lives if we found out? It wouldn't, and you know why.
