This is from a few years ago when I worked the morning shift at the theaters.
So, for some reason, the manager last night screwed something up with the projectors and their schedule.
I was just an "associate," so I really can't go into details, but from what I gathered he forgot to send the schedule to the projectors and load the movies, so none of them started automatically.
Because of this, we apologized to the few people who where in the different theaters and gave them free passes for the inconvenience.
However, there was a group of old people wanting to see some old person movie (summer of 2014, if you want to figure it out), and they were livid.
Every few minutes, it took around 30 to get it all loaded in and whatnot, one of them would come out and yell at us, as if it would make it go faster.
We apologized profusely and did everything we could to make up for the error, and their final threat to us went like this:
>"If you don't get this movie started soon, you'll have to buy us LUNCH"
