You walk outside your house and into the woods a little bit, carrying a shotgun. You lay down in the autumn leaves with the shotgun next to you.
You look up, the light is brilliant, the rays shining through. You see the trees, their golden leaves flutter in the wind. One falls off and floats calmly down in the light breeze.
You hear music, its coming from your earbuds, a pleasant song starts to play.
Your mind turns to the shotgun next to you. The metal reflecting in the light. You pick it up. You aim at your head.
Off in your peripheral vision you see the light is shining more brilliantly than it has ever before. In that vision, you can see the sky poke through the golden leaves.
Your thoughts float off into the distance, you imagine a future without anger, abuse and pain.
You pull the trigger.
