Dale sat at his desktop tapping away at yet another email. He smiled as he listened to his daughter playing in her bedroom, almost chuckling to himself.
Sometimes he forgot just how cute his little girl could be.
In her room, adjacent to his office, she was playing with her dolls as she did almost every Saturday morning.
Her soft voice pressing through her thin pink walls and echoing down the short hallway.
He stopped typing as he heard her begin singing a song he had never heard before. He listened closely.
"I am your mother" she sang, in a high yet still soft and flowing voice.
"I am your father" she sang in a lower more stern voice, clearly meant to imitate a man.
Dale bit his lip to stop himself from audibly laughing. This was too cute.
"You will never be..." she sang in her high feminine voice
"Alone..." she sung again in her manly voice.
"You will never be alone" both voices sung in a soft harmony
