Today I ended up telling a few friends about how I decided to start drawing, although I didn’t mention I made a blog nor shared the tumblr link.
I want this space for myself for at least a while moreWierd thing happened today, I’ve been followed by a bot that goes by “cheezbot”,
It doesn’t seem to be malicious and follows a lot of different illustrators and artists.
I’m a bit confused on what it is or why its following me, maybe it’s a tumblr thing? Searching about it didn’t really bring anything up so I’ll just leave it as is.
By the way I’ll throw this now: I can’t tell but it’s possible my english sounds a a bit off.
English is my third language and although I’ve extensively read a lot of content in it I haven’t really been able to practice it a lot.
It has come to the point where I can read it naturally but have quite a bit of troube trying to express myself.
Anyway, on to today’s doodle:I spent 2 hours on it this time, I’m really pleased with it.
I didn’t quite finish it as it got to the point where I either didn’t know how to progress or I felt as I was doing manual work without learning from itI tried working on what I saw
as yesterday’s shortcomings, so that’s why the non-specific young face, think I’ve managed to accentuate its features more in comparison to yesterday’s drawing,
it feels a bit more shapely and the face itself looks a lot more lively.
That said its still really simple, no extremely distinguished featuresOne of the things that stumped me is that I have no idea how to work on the cheeks,
once I take out the sketch lines it ends up falling flat and I don’t know how to fix it, maybe I should take a look at how other artist draw facial features more closesly.
That said today I’m felling hopeful that me drawing might not be as disastrous as I was fearing it was gonna beI swear I’ll draw something that’s not a face tomorrow,
guess that’s all for today, see ya.
