Hello, Tales from the Theatre! Who is ready for a lovely rant?
I usually work at my theatre's arcade but I had to go cover the guy who rips tickets. So I ask people who walk by to see their tickets and it always astounds me how offended people get.
They walk by, I ask to see their tickets and they say the guy before me already ripped them. I tell them I need to see it anyway because I haven't.
Their general unwillingness and how rude people are just amazes me. A guest had to show me their ticket and they walk down the corridor past a supervisor.
My supervisor approaches me and asked what happened and I explain I just wanted to see their ticket. He sympathises and tells me he asked because he heard them mutter "asshole."
Do people not understand that your ticket is required for entrance regardless of whether or not it's been ripped already? Is it really that difficult?
I know others have gone through much worse and I've been lucky with my guests but it's the little things people do that get you down.
Okay, I'm done ranting for the night, thanks for reading.
